Dear Colleagues,

I wonder if anyone has looked into/done stability study on samples for Immulite's insulin and C-peptide assays. I have done some literature search on sample requirements and stability before and after centrifuge. There is one UK based study that suggested up to 6 hours for non-centrifuged serum samples. I could not find data on lithium heparin samples. The manufacturer did not suggest a pre-centrifuge time limit for serum or lithium heparin samples, nor do they suggest any sample requirements (eg, on ice) .

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Mo
