As Caroline and self had already booked a holiday in a nearby resort, this was not a problem. However, the lunch escalated into a my giving a lecture at the university, visiting the hospital, hearing the Minister of Health speak in a debate in parliament and finally having tea with Mrs Mintoff. The Malta Times thundered 'this expert should not be allowed to leave' referring to your humble correspondent. Not sure this has got to do anything Caritas but we maybe broke some new ground, Caroline however was less than pleased with the holiday.
