Hi Leah,
We could send these through to our contact at the North East Police History Society to have a look at if that would be helpful?
Cheers,
Emma

Hello
Can anyone help with a couple of mystery objects? These wooden paddles have 'Durham City Police' written on them, along with quite a bit of black ink around the edges, which makes
me think they might be connected to taking fingerprints. They are 355 mm long, 64 mm wide and 5 mm deep.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Leah
