Dean Veall here from the Public Engagement Unit at the University of Bath. The University of Bath and the University of Bristol are looking for an evaluation consultant to support the evaluation of FUTURES. 


What is FUTURES

FUTURES is a European Researchers’ Night (ERN) project hosted in collaboration between the University of Bath and the University of Bristol with funding from the European Commission. FUTURES will bring together learning from the past and visions of the future by celebrating cultural heritage and exploring innovation in the South West of England. 


Summary of the brief:

We would like to commission an evaluator to lead on the evaluation of FUTURES. This will include updating the evaluation plan from FUTURES 2018 for the 2019 activities; collection and analysis of data; and producing a report outlining key findings. The emphasis of this commission will be on the analysis of data and report writing and the timetable for delivery should reflect this focus.

Total value: £3,500 inc. VAT and all expenses. 


Person specification
We are looking for an individual with
  • experience of using a mixed method approach to data collection, both qualitative and quantitative
  • experience of engaging with a diverse group of participants attending events at cultural venues
  • experience of data analysis and summarising findings in written reports
