Brexit has made it quite hard to find sponsors for Ada Lovelace Day this year, as companies are cutting their marketing and CSR budgets, and/or delaying decision-making, so I have launched a GoFundMe to raise enough money to keep Ada Lovelace Day going.

We raised £6,133 last week, which is utterly amazing, but progress stalled over the weekend. My goal is £30k, and if we reach that then I'll be able to offer one-to-one online mentoring from Chronus as part of our new Finding Ada Network. Once the Network is properly established, then hopefully we can become financially self-sustaining.

I'd really love to hear your suggestions for where I can promote the fundraiser. If there's anyone here who'd like to write about it, I'd love to chat. Obviously I'm doing the usual social media stuff, but it's quite hard to keep the momentum going, so all ideas welcome.

Best
