Her reason for admission would surely make a difference. Why was she admitted?

Subject: Help with enquiry

Good morning,

I'd like to pick your collective brains please. I have had an enquiry about the safest place to care for a heavily pregnant lady who is acutely ill - whether labour ward with medical input, ITU or keep her in ED. The case which sparked this enquiry was a lady with a rare variant of Guillan Barre. My enquirer would ideally like something which compared maternal morbidity and mortality and fetal outcomes in these settings.

Does any one have any brilliant suggestions?

I am already aware of
https://www.rcoa.ac.uk/system/files/EMC-Guidelines2018.pdf
Care of the critically ill woman in childbirth;enhanced maternal care

And a few other bits and pieces but I thought I'd ask in case anyone has done this before.

Janet
