Dear Lislinkers

We have had a query from a postgrad nursing student who is looking for product advertisements in print journals over the last three years, specifically relating to wound care and how the advertisers justify the claims made for the product in the advert. This is tricky for a number of reasons: we don’t take many print journals here at Birmingham City University anymore; there is no way of searching print journals apart from browsing through issue by issue at the shelves; and there seems to be very little advertising in print journals at all these days. I have spent this morning scouring the stacks but with very little luck.
