Due a technical issue, permissions results for Cambridge University Press editions currently show as excluded for photocopying and scanning under the CLA Licence on the Check Permissions tool. We are trying to fix this as a matter of urgency, but unfortunately, it may a few days to get this sorted out as refreshes are applied overnight. I understand that it is not currently clear what is causing this issue.

 

Cambridge University Press is a global mandate publisher and generally speaking, you can make photocopies and scans regardless of where the editions were published. Although this is unlikely, there may be the odd edition that has been specifically excluded so my advice would be to go ahead with your scanning requests for now if you can’t wait and check back next week.

 

We will of course let you know once the issue has been resolved at our end.
