German Life & Letters is looking to recruit a Social Media Editor to help develop the journal’s online profile. The role currently
entails overseeing the journal’s Twitter account to promote new published content as well as relevant opportunities around conferences and prizes linked to the journal. This involves liaising with both the editorial board and the journal’s publisher, Wiley.
Benefits include the opportunity to get an inside view of some of the strategy and day-to-day planning involved in running a major academic journal, and an annual honorarium of £700 paid in two instalments over the year. The workload amounts to c.60 hours
across the year, and regularity of engagement is key.
