Applications are invited for the role of Health Economist/Analyst in the Centre for Primary Care and Public Health, Queen Mary University of London, Whitechapel, London.

We are looking for a quantitative health economist/analyst to join our growing health economics team and contribute to a portfolio of research and teaching in the area of economic evaluation of health interventions, disease modelling and outcome measurement and valuation to inform health care decisions that lead to improvements in population health. In the first instance, the post holder will develop a research portfolio in cardiovascular disease modelling and assessing interventions to reduce CVD risk in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Oxford. A higher degree in (health) economics, statistics, mathematics or relevant subject (PhD/DPhil) or equivalent experience, good working knowledge of R (please submit 2-page code with your application) and evidence of peer-reviewed publications are essential.

This post is full-time (although part-time applications will be also considered) and fixed-term for 2 years in the first instance. Starting salary will be in the range £37,411 to £44,015 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, a pension scheme and an interest-free season ticket loan.
