Dear colleagues who offer urine citrate analysis in the UK

We use the Boehringer Mannheim/Roche enzyme assay kit for our urine citrate analysis and is finding it difficult to trace the traceability of the calibrator provided with the kit.

Alternative kits or calibrators as far as we have looked is not available in the UK.

Does anyone know of another commercial kit or a commercial calibrator that can be separately purchased with traceability to a certified reference material?

Anyone out there using a different method? If so, what calibrators do you use?

Many thanks

Danja
