The ALPSP Awards serve to highlight the creativity and development that abounds in our industry with new projects and tools to meet the needs of today’s researchers, authors and publishers.

The finalists will be given the opportunity to showcase their products in a rapid fire session at the ALPSP Conference on Wednesday 11 September. The winners will then be announced at the Conference Awards Dinner on Thursday 12 September (www.alpsp.org/conference).

Chair of the judging panel, David Sommer, said “Once again, we were very pleased to receive submissions from a range of organisations and areas. Publishing is all about communication and this year’s finalists represent different stages of the workflow from pre-publication to the dissemination and practical application of knowledge. We believe that each has exciting potential to bring about positive change and practical benefits for their sector.”

Wayne Sime, Chief Executive of ALPSP commented “Our industry is operating in both uncertain and yet interesting times. The ALPSP Awards celebrate projects and players who are challenging the norm and pushing forward innovation and development to meet the needs of today’s researchers, authors and publishers.”
