The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality student-focused support across our 3 learning centres, supporting the college VLE, facilitating independent learning and the use of ICT as set out in the College's ILT Strategy.

 

The successful candidate would ideally have:

• A recognised professional qualification for librarianship or qualification accredited by CILIP, working towards this or equivalent ILT related qualification.

• Experience using VLEs and eResources experience in using Canvas would be advantageous.

• Experience working in a library or learning space, ideally in an education setting

• Excellent ICT skills

• Experience of delivering teaching/training to groups of students and/or staff

• A good knowledge of library management systems, experience using Heritage would be advantageous

• A flexible attitude and willingness to work early shifts (8.15am start) and 1 late night per week (until 7.30pm each Wednesday).
