Ashton Sixth Form College has a vacancy for a Learning Facilitator. Further information and details at https://www.asfc.ac.uk/job-vacancies The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality student-focused support across our 3 learning centres, supporting the college VLE, facilitating independent learning and the use of ICT as set out in the College's ILT Strategy. The successful candidate would ideally have: * A recognised professional qualification for librarianship or qualification accredited by CILIP, working towards this or equivalent ILT related qualification. * Experience using VLEs and eResources experience in using Canvas would be advantageous. * Experience working in a library or learning space, ideally in an education setting * Excellent ICT skills * Experience of delivering teaching/training to groups of students and/or staff * A good knowledge of library management systems, experience using Heritage would be advantageous * A flexible attitude and willingness to work early shifts (8.15am start) and 1 late night per week (until 7.30pm each Wednesday).
