Good morning everyone (Happy Friday), Apologies for cross-posting. It's time for our monthly newlibsuk chat. This month, Nick Poole (CEO, CILIP) and Jo Cornish (Head of Sector Development, CILIP) will be joining us to discuss new professionals and CILIP, and to learn about the concerns and ambitions of new professionals. Nick and Jo have proposed 7 questions that will be released over the hourly chat: Q1 What is your experience of CILIP in your professional development so far? Q2 Do you find CILIP relevant to you at this stage in your career? If not, why not? Q3 What are the main challenges you face as an early-career professional? Q4 Have you attended any CILIP events? If not, why not? If you have, what are your thoughts on CILIP events for new professionals? Q5 What is your view of Chartership/Professional Registration? Do you plan to engage with it? If not, what is putting you off? Q6 What should CILIP be doing to engage with and include new professionals? Q7 Would you recommend getting involved in or joining CILIP to your friends and networks - why?/why not?
