We are recruiting two new posts at the British Museum!

Samsung Digital Discovery Centre Learning Producers Fixed term until 21 April 2024 Part time: 4 days per week
£22,875 per annum, pro rata

The British Museum has an exciting new opportunity for two Learning Producers to join the Learning and National Partnerships team to support the British Museum’s world renowned Samsung sponsored digital learning programme for schools, families and young audiences.

In this role, you will deliver high quality, interactive and immersive digital learning school sessions during the week, and family lead sessions at the weekends; you will provide support to the Education Managers and you will ensure the smooth running of our formal and informal learning offers.

The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent). You will have experience of working with digital learning, and be skilled in using digital equipment such as tablets and smartphones. You will also have the ability to quickly learn new digital skills and solve simple digital problems. We are also looking for someone with previous administrative experience and demonstrable experience of working with schools, families or young people.  

We are looking for someone who is reliable and accurate, and is able to lead a team. With effective written and verbal communication skills, you will be diplomatic and persuasive, and have an enthusiasm for learning and working directly with schools, families and young people.

The roles will work two different shift patters to ensure full coverage of the sessions: Sunday – Wednesday and Wednesday – Saturday. Therefore candidates must be able to work one at least of these patterns. Interviews will take place week commencing 8 July 2019.
