Cleveland Pools were developed in 1815. The site is unique, it is the oldest surviving  open air public swimming pool in the country. It is listed grade II* and part of the Bath UNESCO designated World Heritage Site. Following over 30 years of dereliction it has been rescued and restored by the Cleveland Pools Trust (CPT), in partnership with the Council with major grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), Historic England and others including individual donations from the public.
Two roles are now needed to help deliver this exciting projectCommunity Liaison and Volunteer Officer (CLVO)Finance & Admin Officer.Job descriptions are attached.

Community Liaison and Volunteer Officer (CLVO).  Salary/contract £22,000 on a pro rata basis. This post is for three days equivalent a week which can be spread over a five day period.  Some weekend and evening work will be required as part of delivering the role. The initial contract is for three years but may be extended, if possible. 
 
Responsible for delivering the National Lottery Heritage Fund approved Activity Plan for the Cleveland Pools during the construction period and beyond when the Pools are open to the public. 

Finance & Admin Officer will be appointed initially to support the Project Director in the delivery phase of the project when the physical construction works are completed. He/She will also assist in preparation of all policies and systems required to appoint staff and volunteers in preparation for the first opening of the Cleveland Pools (the Pools) for heated swimming in April 2021. Following formal opening and a 3 month ‘snagging’ period the Project Director role will cease and the F&AO will work closely with the seasonal Pool Manager, Community Liaison & Volunteering Officer (CLVO), and a designated Director/Trustee to support the smooth operation of the Pools for swimming, education and associated events.
