If you would please advise on the following:

First Case:

The image stacks were acquired in super resolution mode with pixel size = 0.53 A. By applying bining during MotionCor the pixel = 1.06 A . My particle is ~ 150 A and I used box size of 330 pixels = 349.8 A. The calculated defocusing values are below 20,000. The resolution is slightly better than 3 A.

I want to improve the resolution:

1-  Will my resolution improve if I do not apply bining? The new box size will be 660 pixels, is this acceptable and how much RAM and memory on the GPU will it require? (I use 4 GPUs 12GB each).

Second Case:

2-At higher magnification, the pixel size is 0.32 A.  To maintanin the same box size and without applying bining, the box size will be 1093 pixels, is this feasible? or I must apply bining?

If I apply bining in Second case will the resolution be better than or similar to NOT applying bining in the First case when the pixel size=0.53 A?

3- What b-factor value you apply for super resolution images?

Thank you very much for your help and time.
