Afternoon all, Just sharing a little exercise that I came across a couple of years to prompt people to think about their unconscious bias. You start with a FOLDED version of the attached document (so that only the name/initial part is visible), then you ask them to: 1. *Write down 10 people you really trust that are not family.* 2. *ONLY then unfold the paper and mark each of the trusted 10 against each area in whatever way you see fit.* 3. *You don’t have to share anything specific if you don’t want to, but let’s chat for a couple of minutes about what we’ve learned about whom we have an affinity with and why.* It really got people here talking and considering their unconscious bias, as well as the voices they're missing in their own lives.
