International Symposium on Sustainable Urban Drainage
Ningbo, Zhejiang, China,
17. - 19. October 2019
Organized by Ningbo University (China) and the University of Alberta
(Canada), and co-organized by Tsinghua University, Zhejiang
University and US EPA.
Municipalities worldwide are experiencing significant challenges
with maintaining and improving the performances of their urban
drainage system as a result of climate change, rapid urban
development, aging of infrastructure and more stringent
environmental regulations. This international symposium will serve
as a platform for researchers and practitioners to work together to
enhance infrastructure resilience and sustainability. Extended
abstracts are welcome on the related topics including: (1) Low
Impact Development and sponge city applications, (2) condition
assessment and modernization of urban drainage system, (3) climate
adaption for resilient urban water infrastructure, (4) emerging
topics such as smart water management, big data, etc. in the
applications of urban drainage. The abstracts are due on July 1,
