The list may also find this website useful - you can input figures and images and it will show you how they would appear to people with different types of colour blindness, so you can see if your design works.

Hi Jenni

I'd also be very interested in access to the spreadsheet if you don't mind sharing it, as it would be a useful resource for some of the schools I work with.

And thanks also Autumn for sharing the link! Always wonderful to see inclusiveness considered.

Hi Claudia,
Great question, I think its wonderful that you are taking the time to be sure the exhibit is accessible to those folks with color blindness. Below is a link to resource which I've found helpful. Good luck with the project! https://99u.adobe.com/articles/59737/how-can-we-make-design-better-for-the-color-blind
Warm wishes,

Hello PSCI-COM people,

At The Roslin Institute we are designing an exhibit about DNA sequencing, and we would like to pick the four different colours for the bases so that they are suitable (or as much as possible) for colour-blind people. We have a limited amount of options, which I can provide off-list. The bases will have the corresponding letters on them so they should be easily identifiable anyway, but we would like to know the best set of colours (if there is one!).

Any advice/resources about this are most welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Claudia
