New sessions announced focussing on 'Cultivating Diversity' and 'Open Books'
We are delighted to announce two more confirmed parallel sessions that will form part of our exciting programme for this year's ALPSP Annual Conference.
Thursday 12 September, 11:35-12:20
"Cultivating Diversity in Culture within Publishing Houses"
As part of our Internationalization & Diversity strand, this session will tackle the issues of how to create a truly diverse culture within the scholarly communication industry, combat biases and detail misconceptions
about working with people of different abilities and life circumstances. Our speakers are:

“New Horizons in Open Research: Innovation in open books”
In a series of lightning talks, our speakers for this session will showcase new solutions for scholarly book workflows and publication that support researchers whose outputs are outside the well-developed journal
systems and who rely on books and monographs to share and publish their work. Our speakers are:
