Definitely worth a read by all those involved in medical education:

Lehane E, Leahy-Warren P, O’Riordan C, et al.  Evidence-based practice education for healthcare professions: an expert view.

BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine 2019;24:103-108.

Over the past two decades, more than 300 articles have been published on teaching evidence-based medicine alone and in excess of 30 experiments have been conducted to measure its effects. Recent reviews evaluating the adoption of evidence-based recommendations for teaching EBP however point to poor uptake of existing resources available to guide EBP education.”

The application of EBP continues to be observed irregularly at the point of patient contact. The effective development and implementation of professional education to facilitate EBP remains a major and immediate challenge”
