Position:

LIBR is currently seeking for one postdoctoral associate/fellow who have experience in human behavioral analysis and functional neuroimaging. A successful candidate will be involved in ongoing research in using fMRI, non-invasive brain stimulation, and cognitive training to reshape the future of mental health and substance use disorders. LIBR postdocs conduct research and receive training to develop, design and implement independent research projects, collect and analyze data, work with research participants and graduate students, prepare and publish papers and presentations, and progress towards an independent career.

Mentorship: Will be provided under the supervision of Dr. Hamed Ekhtiari and Dr. Martin Paulus.

Institute: Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma (USA), LIBR is a privately funded non-profit clinical neuroscience research institute attached to a major psychiatric hospital (Laureate Psychiatric Clinic & Hospital).

Facilities: A state-of-the-art neuroimaging research environment, including two 3-Tesla MRI scanners (GE Discovery MR750; fully research dedicated), a custom-developed real-time fMRI system, an fMRI compatible 128-channel EEG system, and high definition online transcranial electrical stimulation during fMRI.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in neuroscience, mathematics, statistics, electrical engineering or a related computational/modeling field, solid foundation in fMRI data analysis, statistics, and computer programming. Expertise with Matlab, R, and UNIX/Linux environments is required. Having previous experience with computational head modeling for electrical current is a positive point.

Salary/Benefits:  This is a full-time research position for 1-2 years with renewable funding for up to 3-5 years. A full benefits package is available.
