The School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery at the University of Bradford is looking for a dedicated individual to undertake the role of external examiner for our existing MSc Medical Imaging, MSc Medical Imaging International
and MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner Radiographic Reporting programmes and nested award to commence on 30 November 2019.
MSc Medical Imaging - Programme is for UK radiographers practising in a range of areas to extend their skills and knowledge in their chosen field; or extend their scope of practice.
MSc Medical Imaging International - Programme is for international students to extend their knowledge and understanding of CT, MRI and research to inform their own practice.
MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner Radiographic Reporting - programme to develop skills, knowledge and ability to undertake a radiographic reporting and an ACP role.
You should have appropriate expertise/experience in the areas of the radiography and currently hold a role as a Radiography Lecturer or Consultant Radiographer qualified in medical image reporting.
You should also hold a relevant MSc or PhD qualification in medical imaging or Advanced Clinical Practice and hold a current HCPC registration. You must be able to undertake a role in the assurance of academic standards in Higher Education
and should be aware of modern developments in the design and delivery of the flexible curriculum.
You should not hold more than one other UK Higher Education External Examiner post at the start of the contract and be qualified to at least the level of the programme to be examined.
