I am writing to you about the 19th European Conference on Digital Government (ECDG 2019). Cyprus International University, Nicosia, Cyprus will be the venue, on the 24 – 25 October 2019.
The European Conference on e-Government has been running now for 19 years and this year we are refocusing the conference to look more broadly at the area of Digital Government. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, public sector workers and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of Digital Government research and application.

At ECDG 2019 there will be a Keynote Presentation from Mete Yildiz, Department of Political Science and Public Administration Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey on What Are The Big Questions Of Digital Government Research: A Public Administration Perspective
The conference will also host the finals of the Digital Government Excellence Awards; a competition to identify innovative and creative application of digital government. Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited.
Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The Proceedings have an ISSN, ISBN and will be submitted for indexing in the Thompson Web of Science and Scopus and listing in the EBSCO database.
