Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Library and Archive Assistant to assist the team in the development, promotion and daily running of the Library & Archive so that we can provide an effective resource and information service, both for staff and a wide range of external users and partners. They will be responsible for reader services and access to the collections.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, proven experience of excellent customer service and good communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines, proven experience of archive work or working in a similar environment and competent of using IT systems are all essential.

This role would particularly suit anyone trying to gain pre-qualification work experience and is part-time, two-days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The closing date is 5pm on Monday 13 May.
