The 9th International (TDM) symposium will be organised by Edinburgh Napier University, and will take place from 19-21 June 2019, at the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Edinburgh. The TDM symposium provides three days of intellectual exchange of your research findings with leading researchers and professionals in the field. The aim of the symposium is to bring together practitioners and researchers in order to inspire stronger collaborations for the benefit of the urban environment. It will be a platform for best practice sharing and networking with these researchers.

Draft programme and further information about the TDM Symposium is available on our blog: http://blogs.napier.ac.uk/tdm2019/programme/

The presented papers will be considered for inclusion in a Special Issue in Transportation Research Part A "Travel demand management in smart cities" on the basis of the reviewers' comments received at the Symposium as well as the normal TRA peers' review process. Authors will be invited to submit a revised and extended version of their presented papers at the symposium for further reviews. There will be an informal lunch time session during the symposium to discuss possible contributions to the SI.

An early bird rate of £250 is available until 12 April. The fee for later registration is £300. Please note that the registration fee does not cover overnight accommodation or any local travel costs. We advise you to make these arrangements separately (a list of local/nearby hotels will be advertised on the symposium website). Registration for the conference can be made using the following link: https://store.napier.ac.uk/browse/extra_info.asp?compid=1&modid=1&prodid=1513

We look forward to welcoming you at the symposium.
