It cannot be cost effective to set up to do this in-house yourselves (imms and vac training & competencies, monitored cold chain, special fridges, sharps disposal etc etc). Check privision through your local NHS OH or a good local OH provider.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Hep B vaccine queryHi******************************** Please remove this footer before replying. OCC-HEALTH ARCHIVES: http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/occ-health.html CONFERENCES AND STUDY DAYS: http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/filearea.cgi?LMGT1=OCC-HEALTH
Our organisation is considering offering voluntary Hep B vaccines to our first response team, approx 20 people.
How do other organisations administer/offer Hep B vaccines and blood sampling in the private sector? we currently have nothing in place to administer vaccines and have been advised against setting this up, as it is required for only 20 vaccines.
Many thanks
Vicky
