Postdoctoral position, University of Toronto Quantum coherent control of ultracold molecular collisions and chemical reactions A postdoctoral position is available in the research group of Prof. Paul Brumer, Chemical Physics Theory Group and Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Control, University of Toronto. The postdoctoral fellow will address issues in the coherent control of ultracold molecular collisions and chemical reactions in collaboration with Prof. Timur Tscherbul's group, University of Nevada, Reno. The focus will be on both theory and numerically exact quantum scattering calculations in a variety of low-temperature scattering processes, including Penning and associative ionization, atom-molecule chemical reactions, and molecule-molecule collisions. Candidates with a strong background in theoretical chemistry, quantum scattering theory, and excellent programming skills (Fortran/C/C++) are encouraged to apply. Applications should provide a CV with publication list, a brief statement of research interests, and have two or more letters of recommendation emailed to the address below. All applications should be submitted via email to Professor Paul Brumer Chemical Physics Theory Group Department of Chemistry, and Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Control University of Toronto Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5S 3H6 E-mail: [log in to unmask] To join or leave the molecular-dynamics-news email list, go to: http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/molecular-dynamics-news.html
