A 2-year post-doctoral position in Computational Chemistry is available at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

You will make a leading contribution to the project “Delocalised phonon-like modes in organic and bio-molecules”, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, under the guidance of Dr Hans Senn and Prof Klaas Wynne. The project involves quantum-chemical calculations using semi-empirical and DFT methods, classical and QM/MM MD simulations, as well as developing a computational approach for the calculation of IR and Raman spectra from dipole and polarisability trajectories. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

For more information, see https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/BQU865/research-associate or directly contact Dr Hans Senn ([log in to unmask]).

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply on-line at https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/BQU865/research-associate by 10 May 2019. The position is available immediately for a fixed term of 24 months, with a start date in 2019 subject to agreement.
