Applications are invited for Ad Astra Fellows in UCD School of Earth Sciences (post reference: 011321). The Ad Astra Fellowship scheme is a new academic recruitment initiative at University College Dublin, Ireland, under which approximately 65 appointments will be made at Lecturer/Assistant Professor grade each year for the next five years. The School provides a BSc (Hons) degree in Geology, in addition to other taught modules across Earth Science, Environmental Science and Sustainability. We contribute to MSc degrees in Environmental Science, Environmental Sustainability and Energy Systems. A new MSc in Subsurface Characterisation and Geomodelling will be introduced in 2020. An ability and willingness to contribute significantly to these and future programmes, and to supervise MSc and PhD research, is expected.
