Dear colleagues, The registration form<https://www.jisc.ac.uk/events/building-digital-capability-community-of-practice-14-may-2019> is now available for our next Building digital capability community of practice event, taking place on Tuesday 14th May, in collaboration with UCL and the Bloomsbury Learning Environment (BLE).<https://www.ble.ac.uk/> This event will be the fifth in a series of community events aimed at staff and leaders responsible for developing digital capability in their organisations. It will take place in London at the UCL Institute of Education (20 Bedford Way, WC1H OAL). In addition to our focus on sharing experiences from across the higher and further education sectors, we are delighted to have two keynote presentations on the day. The first is focusing on the workplace of the future and how we can ensure our learners thrive, by Jack Orlik, Senior researcher at Readie<https://www.nesta.org.uk/project/readie/>, Nesta, drawing on their recent research. Our second is from Andy Tattershall, Information Specialist (Electronic Networks) at the University of Sheffield, speaking on the theme of digital wellbeing. We are looking for volunteers to share their experiences and initiatives around building digital capability in practice as part of our 'PechaKucha' style presentation sessions.
