Dear all

As Editor of the newly-formed Modern Information Governance (MIG) journal I am writing on behalf of the Editorial Panel to invite articles for its inaugural edition, due to be published over the summer. It is MIG’s desire to bring new, emerging and exciting views and interpretations of Information Governance to its readers. Most of the recipients of this Call for Articles work in health and social care Information Governance, but the articles do not in any way have to be limited to that field.

If you would like to make a submission, please be aware that articles:

·        Submitted to another publisher will not be considered for publication; it is taken on trust that from the author(s) that this is so.

·        Must be written in British English.

·        Must, other than by special arrangement, be no longer than 5,000 words (plus references; excess wording may not be placed in footnotes to extend word count).

·        Must be produced with full references in the Harvard style; articles not submitted so will be rejected for publication.

·        Must be submitted in Word to [log in to unmask].

·        Must not identify the author, as a double-blind peer review process is used to ensure the author and peer-reviewers do not know the other’s identity.

·        Must generally be written in the third person.

·        Must not be defamatory of any protected characteristics, i.e. age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership and pregnancy and maternity.

Please feel free to share this Call for Articles to Information Governance and Data Protection professionals further afield who may be interested in contributing.

With many thanks, and we look forward to receiving your submissions.

With kindest regards,

Andrew.
