Dear Critters,

This is just a reminder about the Postgraduate & Early Career Researcher Development Workshop<https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ccrg-postgraduate-and-early-career-researcher-development-workshop-tickets-59871915511> organized by the RGS Climate Change Research Group to be held on Thursday, May 16th at Glasgow Caledonian University. We still have a small number of travel bursaries (up to £50) available – the application deadline for those is EOB tomorrow (Tuesday, April 30). The event is open to doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers and anyone else who considers themselves an early-career academic.

The event will include a workshop on Funding and Income Generation, two paper sessions on critical climate change research presented by selected workshop attendees, and a Panel Session on Networking & Career Management. Confirmed speakers include:

· Dr Sherilyn MacGregor, Reader in Environmental Politics, University of Manchester

· Dr Giovanni Bettini, Lecturer in Environment and Migration, Lancaster University

· Prof. Bonnie Steves, Director of the Graduate School, Glasgow Caledonian University

The event costs £10 to attend, which will be used to cover lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Please visit the Eventbrite page<https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ccrg-postgraduate-and-early-career-researcher-development-workshop-tickets-59871915511> to register and to learn more about the workshop (including the schedule and instructions on how to apply for the bursary and submit an abstract if you wish to present).

The event is for CCRG members only – membership is free and you can join simply by signing up to our mailing list at http://tinyurl.com/CCRG-List

Please share this invite with your ECR colleagues who may also be interested and do get in touch with either myself (ECR rep) or Harriet Thew (PGR rep) at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you have any questions.

We hope to see you there!

Best wishes,
Michael
