Research Assistant/Associate in Data Management, Newcastle University, Ref: A203769R For more information please see: http://bit.ly/2I7EK95 We are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and motivated Research Assistant/Associate in Data Management to join the AGE (Ageing Geriatrics & Epidemiology) Research Group, which is closely linked to the Ageing Syndromes Theme of the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). You will work with a range of stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of data management within the AGE Research Group. You will be responsible for the design, set-up, programming and management of computerised systems for the capture and the management of data, across a portfolio of research projects. You will hold a good quality primary degree. This will ideally be in an information technology, health information management or scientific discipline. Alternatively equivalent relevant experience would be considered for Assistant Level. For Associate Level, you will hold a PhD in a relevant subject. You will also have excellent IT skills and experience of data management and database design. The post is full-time fixed term until 31st March 2022.
