Hi,

To me sheep looks slightly more likely than goat given the pronounced arch of the bone and that the oral point falls relatively close to the sagittal plane.

Best wishes, Laszlo

Dear all,

I'm a little stuck with the identification of this bone. Does anyone have any idea?
It comes from a Medieval context from Mallorca.

You can download a photo of the bone at this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/652jrokp4l3gy2i/unidentified%20bone.psd?dl=0
If you have any ideas, comments etc. please e-mail me.

Many thanks,
Alex
