Hello All

I am a professional musician who is passionate about astronomy, cosmology and particle physics. I am putting together a concert that explores music and cosmology and as a starting place to building a ACE funding application I am looking for partner venues/festivals who may wish to support or put this concert on.

Additionally as a composer I am currently researching and writing pieces that relate the worlds of cosmology and particle physics to music. I have tentatively started this work with particle physicists and astronomers but now want to develop it further into a large body of work and performances. One piece I wrote about pulsars was featured at The British Science Festival in Swansea in 2016. Is there a university department out there where I could do an artist residency or maybe one that could support an PhD in collaboration with their music department?

If you are interested in either proposal I can be contacted for more information and discussion at this email address: [log in to unmask]

With thanks and warm wishes
Suzie Shrubb
