*With apologies for cross-posting* Again and Again: Musical Repetition in Aesthetics, Analysis, and Experience Thursday 25 – Friday 26 April 2019 City, University of London - Music Department Registration for ‘Again & Again: Musical Repetition in Aesthetics, Analysis, and Experience’ is now open. This international gathering of scholars and practitioners engaged with repetition in all its shapes and forms will be hosted by the City, University of London Music Department from April 25-26th. Highlights of the event will include a keynote presentation by Prof. Elizabeth Hellmuth Margulis (University of Arkansas), a conversation between experimental filmmaker Martin Arnold and Prof. Emmanuelle André (Université Paris Diderot), a screening of Arnold’s works, a lunchtime recital by pianist Mark Knoop, and an evening concert by Explore Ensemble, who will perform Morton Feldman’s ‘Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello’.
