My email to the list-serv was actually prompted by a colleague in New Zealand who knew the book had recently come out, but didn’t have access to the chapters and felt that colleagues in Australia and New Zealand would benefit from such scholarly work, especially as their journalism students will be covering this horrible tragedy now. There is a gap in our collective knowledge on how best to report on such topics. The existence of the DART Centre and what it has been distributing since the early hours of this morning is proof of that. Apologies to those who have been offended by my earlier post.
