Gerda Stevenson, award-winning actor/writer/director/singer-song-writer, will read from her acclaimed book QUINES: Poems in tribute to women of Scotland, published by Luath Press, 2018. The book celebrates and explores the richly diverse contribution that women have made to Scottish history and society, from neolithic times to the 21st century. The poems are in monologue form, giving dramatic voice to a whole range of extraordinary women, including scientists, politicians, artists, sportswomen, a salt-seller, a fish-gutter, the world's greatest fishing fly-tyer, a whole football team, social reformers, and many more.

Please, contact Eleanor Rycroft - [log in to unmask] - if you have any questions.
