Would anyone like to come to a low cost, creative and playful professional development opportunity?
Anyone involved in education (and their families) is welcome, but particularly librarians, learning developers, learning technologists, and lecturers in FE & HE!
The programme is flexible, with a large part of it run on open space principles, where the attendees shape the programme. We have some particular workshops / sessions planned in advance (including making chapbooks, manual tweeting, and encouraging playful
educational experiences for adults) as well as opportunity for suggesting activities and discussions during the event. Suggestions / volunteers to run other workshops are welcome.
A basic ticket (1 person) will cost £50 which will include attendance at the learning festival, plus either space to camp, or a bed in a shared room, plus evening meal, and breakfast. It will run from the afternoon of 30th May to lunchtime on 31st May.
A number of free tickets are available for people who would not otherwise be able to attend, please let me know if you need one.
The venue is a newly refurbished outdoor education centre,
Bell Heath, that has a mixture of indoor and outdoor space for us to use.
Regards,
Andrew
