Dear all,
It is my pleasure to announce two interesting satellite meetings in conjunction with the 2019 IFLA WLIC in Greece.
”RDA 2019” - 21 August
A whole day dedicated to the new, totally revised RDA (Resource Description and Access).
Arranged by IFLA Cataloguing section, Committee on Standards and the European RDA Interest Group (EURIG)
”Metadata specialists in the machine age” - 22 August
Automated processes and new technical possibilities for metadata production and processing are changing the role of the metadata professional. This satellite meeting mixes presentations and discussions about how to make most of a paradigm shift.

Both satellite meetings will take place at the Central Library Aristotle University (https://www.lib.auth.gr/en/central-library) in Thessaloniki.
