Providing secure, ‘private’ means to share data across a range of public, private and voluntary organisations is becoming an increasingly important area of development for cities, including London.

As part of a growing City Data team, we are looking for two Back-End developers to plan and build supporting data infrastructure, working with front-end developers, data scientists and subject experts from both the Greater London Authority and Digital Greenwich as well as partners and suppliers from the EU Sharing Cities project. Your work will have a particular focus on:
• how cities access big data from Internet of Things devices, including smart lampposts and flexible energy grids
• secure sharing of data for analytics and predicting the demand for public services

You will have the opportunity to work on high profile projects such as the award-winning London DataStore, Sharing Cities and the London Office for Technology & Innovation.

If you enjoy problem solving at a high level – apply today.
