"Universalism" or "Universalisms" in Social Policies?

Edited by Monica Budowski and Daniel Künzler

Deadline for Abstracts: 15 June 2019 | Deadline for Articles: 30 September 2019

Social Inclusion, peer-reviewed journal indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science) and Scopus (2017 CiteScore: 0.97), is preparing an issue on social policies and universal basic services. We want to bring the term “universal” into discussion and challenge researchers to consider what types of "universalisms" are there in Social Policy, who is included/excluded in so-called "universal" policies, what criteria are being used and how are they legitimated. Contributions from (and on) the Global South are especially welcome.

Authors interested in submitting a paper for this issue are asked to read the full call for papers here.

Send your abstract (about 200-250 words, with a tentative title) to the journal's editorial office ([log in to unmask]) by 15 June 2019.

Kindest regards,
Mariana
