Invitation for the TRAIL International PhD summer school

Cycling in Cities

in Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands

9 -13 September 2019

 

TRAIL research school in the Netherlands organizes an international summer school on ‘Cycling in Cities’.  It is offered to all PhD students who are involved in research on the social, spatial, mobility and policy aspects of cycling. It does not matter whether you are about to start or whether you are well on the way!

Topics are Traffic & Travel Modelling, Societal Impacts, such as Safety, Health, the Environment, Evaluation, the Built Environment and Accessibility, Innovation, and Policy Implementation. Including field trips in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

Course leaders are Prof Serge Hoogendoorn and dr Kees Maat. Other lecturers include prof Bert van Wee, prof Marjan Hagenzieker, prof Erik Verhoef, prof Henk Meurs, prof Karst Geurs, and others.

Get interactive lectures, practical training, feedback and discussion, experience cycling, and build your network!
