Dear Colleagues

 

Suffolk Record Office is seeking an experienced, Move Co-ordinator familiar with move planning, implementation and problem solving for c.15 months from May 2019 – end of July 2020 to work with the Collections Team, wider Record Office workforce, and volunteers. This post will be based at the Ipswich Record Office but will also spend significant amounts of time in Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds record offices.

 

The initial focus will be to further develop the decanting and recanting plan to move record office collections into ‘The Hold’ a new Archives and Heritage Centre in Ipswich.

 

Estimated requirements of the contract = 80-100 days distributed across the time period according to need (e.g. requirements will be more intensive at the beginning and end of the period).
