We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for our inaugural
annual conference entitled
‘Creative Approaches to Pedagogic Research’. Please visit

Our keynote speakers are Prof Pauline Kneale (University of Plymouth) and Prof Mike Sharples (Open University), both of whom are Honorary Visiting Professors at CIHE. We will also
have two workshops from Dr Mark J. P. Kerrigan (Plymouth College of Art, Honorary Visiting Fellow at CIHE) and Prof Gina Wisker (University of Brighton).
This conference is an opportunity to share and learn about current innovative approaches to research-informed teaching and learning.
The
call for presentations remains open: we invite contributions of 30 minutes focussing on any of the below three strands, which underpin CIHE’s mission, or other creative approaches to pedagogic research.

Active Learning
·
Design Thinking Pedagogy
We encourage innovative use of the 30 minute time slot including (but not limited to):

Micro-teaching
·
Short practice workshop ‘How to…’
·
Interactive debate and discussion
Please submit your proposal using
this form by 18 April 2019.
Please note it is our intention to publish contributions as chapters in an edited volume in 2019/20.
