It’s with great pleasure that I am able to announce further opportunities to join the newly established Development Academy at the University of Liverpool.

 

The Academy is designed as a centre of excellence in the development of practice, with teams focused on enhancing learning and teaching, research, leadership and professional practice for all roles and career stages. At the core of this provision is the Academic Development Team, a group of specialists with responsibility for educational development across the whole institution.

 

Working in partnership with academic and professional colleagues, this team design and deliver accredited and informal teaching development opportunities for staff, embodying best practice, innovation and creativity.

 

As the University continues to invest in its people, the Academy now has the exciting opportunity to bring in further expertise and experience to extend our impact and reach. To this end, we are establishing a new team of Senior Academic Developer – Portfolio Leads to take forward the next phase of the University’s enhancement of learning and teaching.

 

Successful candidates will have a unique opportunity to lead on a key portfolio of activity, with the freedom to innovate and develop our work. In addition, Senior Academic Developers will work across the whole range of educational development activity, initiating new and exciting projects, challenging existing assumptions, engaging the latest thinking and driving forward cutting edge teaching practice.
