Hello Everyone,

Although not due for publication until 2021, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is starting work on its sixth assessment report (AR6).

Having been a popular science communication and educational resource in the Fifth Assessment Report and the Special Report on 1.5°C Global Warming, the IPCC will again be producing a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) as part of the Working Group I AR6 (Working Group I assesses the physical scaience part of climate change, as apose to adaptation and mitigation aspects). These offer short, plain language summaries of key issues raised by the report in a way that is clear, concise and accessible to non-specialists.

We are keen to seek the perspectives of our stakeholders/report users in the preparation of the FAQs. So, it would help us greatly if you could take 10-15 minutes to participate in this brief online survey. Please also share the survey link to your contacts and other organisations that might be interested in the FAQs.

Knowing how you have used FAQs in the past, as well as your input on the choice of questions, will help us to meet the needs of our users as best as possible.

Please note, the deadline for submissions is midnight CET on Sunday 03 March.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best wishes,
Sarah Connors
